The Gold Humanism Honor Society is a national society recognizing and supporting humanistic exemplars in medicine. The goal of those institutions selected as chapter sponsors is to promote and affirm more compassionate medical care. The College of Osteopathic Medicine is honored to be the second osteopathic medical college selected by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation to serve as a GHHS member institution.
At this annual ceremony, the College will induct 27 students from the Class of 2020 to membership in the Society. Additionally, three local medical residents will be honored with the Arnold P. Gold Foundation’s Humanism & Excellence in Teaching Award.
