The College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery is proud of the outstanding achievements of its students and graduates. Below are some recent indicators of the success of DMU students and the University’s dedication to providing superior medical education.
- The mean first time pass rate over the past five years on Part I of the National Board Exam was 96.2% for CPMS students compared to a national first time pass rate of 78% for all podiatric medical students.
- The mean first time pass rate over the past five years on Part II of the National Board Exam was 93.2% for CPMS students compared to a national first time pass rate of 83.8% for all podiatric medical students.
- Since 2003, all graduates of CPMS have or will complete multi-year podiatric surgical residency programs.
- Entering classes to CPMS over the past three years have the highest admissions benchmarks (MCAT scores, science GPAs and overall GPAs) compared to the other colleges of podiatric medicine.
