Yesterday the Today Show had a piece on the top 5 housing markets in the U.S. and that list included Des Moines. Yay! Go us!
The analyst picked great cities where you can make money in the housing market. They called it a friendly city great for young families with a housing market up 6%. That should be re-assuring if you’re thinking of applying at DMU and would want to buy a house here. Our rental market is also quite healthy and diverse so buying isn’t your only option, of course.
