The Des Moines University Foot and Ankle Institute had a record number of patient visits (7,329) and new patients (1,226) for the 2008-09 fiscal year. DMU Foot and Ankle Institute clinicians also see patients at Pella Regional Medical Center, the Iowa Methodist Wound Center and Adair County Hospital.
The Foot and Ankle Institute is the largest group of podiatric physicians in the state and provides clinical training to students in the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
