DMU students and clinicians from the DMU Clinic will be doing school physicals at the 12th annual Shalom Zone Ministries‘ back-to-school fair Monday. From 3 to 7 p.m. at Gatchel United Methodist Church, 1909 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, kids can get a physical exam, immunizations, a vision check and dental and lead screenings.
Completely a volunteer effort, many, many local families benefit from this awesome event. Here’s a Register piece on the great teamwork of volunteers.
The next time DMU will offer free physicals ON our campus will be in April at the end of this school year.
