If you have a significant other who also moved here but won’t have a whole class to connect with, I’d recommend a visit to the Iowa board on www.thenest.com &/or attend the DMU Significant Others’ Support (SOS) meetings. The first SOS meeting is August 11 at 6 p.m. (5:30 p.m. kicks off the social time) in Ruza Hall in the Academic Center. No RSVP needed and childcare IS provided. Come meet some friends in the same boat!
