Mary Mincer Hansen, Ph.D., has been named to the state of Iowa’s Public Health Advisory Council, part of the Modernizing Public Health in Iowa initiative. She was selected as the expert in emergency preparedness.
The council will play a key role in assuring the vision of public health modernization; that every Iowan has access to a basic standard of public health services, regardless of where they live.
