Today begins the annual Festival of Trees & Lights for Blank Children’s Hospital. Held at the Polk County Convention Complex, this could be a really fun thing to do after you stuff yourself with turkey or go shopping. Maybe a good thing to share with relatives in from another town? If you buy tickets yet today they are $3 at Des Moines area Hy-Vee and Dahl’s stores. If you buy ’em at the door, they’re $5. Still a good price for a fun festive event that raises money and awareness for the local children’s hospital! Check it out!
