The DMU diversity office has arranged for Harriet A. Washington, author of “Medical Apartheid: The Dark History of Medical Experimentation on Black Americans from Colonial Times to the Present” to speak on campus tomorrow (1/27) @ noon. Free and open to all, her talk will be held in the DMU Olsen Medical Education Center, 3200 Grand Avenue in Des Moines.
The event is in celebration and recognition of black history month and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day this month.
