There’s a super cool first-time event in Des Moines called Dog-Eat-Dog Trivia Night happening May 20 at People’s downtown.
(full & complete disclaimer: I’m on the board of The Pet Project Midwest, the charity putting it on. But I’d totally blog about it even if I weren’t cuz it’s going to be fun & it’s a cheap night of entertainment!)
Teams of 8 will go through 8 rounds of trivia ranging from geography to history, music or movies. The top 3 winning teams take home cool prizes. It’s only $20 a person to play and that covers your dinner & a post-game concert!
There’ll be a raffle drawing going on through the night and tables of info about lots of local charities. The night kicks off at 5:30 with a social hour & the game starts at 6:30. The event is a fundraiser for The Pet Project but it’s also designed to build community and get people out for a fun night! You can gather 7 friends and sign up as one team or you can sign up as an individual and be placed on a team. Either way, you should register here!
See what the great “Des Moines Is Not Boring” blog said about this event May 4.
