Last weekend was PERFECT for the downtown farmers’ market and I saw a lot of DMU faces there. Plan to hit it up if you haven’t yet this year.

I don’t know why but lately I’ve had the itch to hit a theme park. If you also enjoy a stress-free day of rides, corndogs, funnel cakes and tunes, check out Adventureland! It’s open weekends already this year. You can get discount tickets from HR! You can also get discount tickets for Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun or Silver Dollar City but that involves a road trip.
I’ve heard Incredible Pizza in Urbandale is a fun place, with or without the whole family. Go-karts are always fun if it’s chilly or rainy!
If you’re the type, it might be a good weekend to grab your clubs & hit the greens.
