Don’t get me wrong, I’m a HUGE fan of Summerfield’s cafeteria, especially with all their fancy new updates & entree options. BUT sometimes it’s nice to get away over lunch & today is such a day…. Luckily for you there is a cool event downtown you should go to TODAY (Thursday, 9/16). It’s called “Destination 10th Street,” runs 11-2 and is outdoors on 10th street, hence the name, between Walnut & Mulberry.
There’s music & artists & you can choose a $5 lunch from Centro, Django, Panera, Raccoon River Brewery & Smokey D’s bbq. Add a drink or dessert for another buck.
