Professional background
After DMU I did my residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in the department of family and community medicine. I am board certified in family medicine. I provide acute medical care in isolated settings at sea and overseas.

Advice to those just starting out in the profession
Unless you just have to be a subspecialist, try to stay as generalized in your post-graduate medical training as possible. That will vastly improve your opportunity for practice location variety and setting over the duration of your career.
