Huang received the New Member of the Year Award from the Lincoln Club of Orange County, CA. He was elected as a member of the board of directors and appointed the local election chairman. He also serves as vice chair of the health care subcommittee when its members are working on health care policy. Additionally, he is a member of the board of directors of the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California (OPSC) along with two other DMU alumni, Randall M. West, D.O.’85, and Alesia J. Wagner-Largent, D.O.’83, FACOFP. Huang was awarded a special recognition award by the OPSC on February 9, 2012, and will serve as the OPSC membership chair in the upcoming year.
