Goecker was named chief of podiatric foot and ankle surgery at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, FL. In addition for caring for patients in the West Coast Podiatry Center offices and performing surgeries at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Goecker lectures extensively on topics related to foot and ankle surgery for other podiatrists nationwide and serves on the faculty of the Podiatry Institute. He completed a three-year surgical residency at Northlake Regional Medical Center in Tucker, GA, and additional training in arthroscopy of the foot and ankle and microsurgery.
