Kabel was appointed chairman of the department of primary care at the Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in New Jersey. He also serves on the board of directors of the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. He and his wife, Sandra, reside in Delran, NJ, where he practices internal medicine at Delran Medical Practice.
