Silberman retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as the manager of the Aerospace Medical Certification Division. He formed an LLC, Aviation Certification Services, and plans on doing consulting. He is also the medical director of Harvey Watt and Company in Atlanta, GA, which provides disability insurance for pilots who have lost their medical certification certificate. He and his wife, Yvonne, reside in Oklahoma City, OK.
