Olson, of Shamokin Dam, PA, was recently chosen president-elect of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA).
Board-certified in family practice, Dr. Olson is a family physician at Family Practice Center, P.C., in Shamokin Dam, and is president of the medical staff at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg. Serving as a delegate to the POMA and the American Osteopathic Association, he is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Family Physicians Society.
Dr. Olson completed an internship at Lakeside Hospital in Kansas City, MO, and a family practice residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, OH.
Dr. Olson was installed during POMA’s 104th Annual Clinical Assembly, held May 2-5, 2012, at the Valley Forge Hotels and Convention Complex in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The assembly attracted more than 1,550 physicians, residents, interns and medical students, plus family members.
