Paulsrud joined the podiatry department of the Hutchinson Clinic in Hutchinson, KS. Following the completion of her degree at DMU, she completed a three-year residency at SSM-DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton, MO. During her third year of residency, she was chief resident and specialized in forefoot and rearfoot surgery, diabetic wound care and limb salvage. She has submitted two papers for publication in the Journal of American Podiatric Medicine and the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is board-qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
