Peerhbai opened a practice in Monticello, IA, where he has been practicing since May 2011. Originally from Pakistan, Peerhbai was raised in its capital, Karachi, and contracted polio at the age of one. The disease brought him to pursue podiatric medicine and surgery later in life; after he completed his degree at DMU, he performed a three-year residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He and his wife, Michelle, reside in Monticello.
