Jodi Cahalan, Ph.D., M.P.H., M.S., PA-C has been recognized as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), a designation received by less than 1% of physician assistants nationally. She has been a physician assistant for 23 years and is the dean of the College of Health Sciences at Des Moines University.
Cahalan earned the designation in recognition for her outstanding contributions to the profession as well as her significant dedication and involvement in the community.
AAPA is the only national organization representing physician assistants in all medical and surgical specialties and is one of the largest medical societies in the U.S. Founded in 1968, the Academy works to promote quality, cost effective health care and the professional and personal growth of PAs.
