Medical Assistants Recognition Day is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 17 and there is a special celebration to recognize all of our medical assistants.
Come celebrate and bask in the spotlight with your peers tomorrow night from 6 – 8 p.m. at Fort Des Moines Museum. Dinner will be served followed by a continuing education program. Angela D. Beckel, DNP, ARNP, FNP-C will be giving a presentation entitled Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease: Overview of Management and Treatment
Dr. Beckel is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, and has experience in managing Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Asthma and practices at Chest, Infectious Disease and Critical Care Associates in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr Beckel received her Doctorate from the University of Iowa. She is developing a Nursing Practitioner-organized COPD Clinic for implementation: Capstone Project.
