Angove was inducted into the Albia Community High School (ACHS) Wall of Fame in Albia, IA, September 14, 2012. Angove graduated from ACHS in 1951, served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1955, graduated from Westmar University in Le Mars, IA, in 1955 and from Des Moines University in 1962. He completed his residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, in 1966 to become a surgeon and was chief of surgery from 1968 to 1988 at New Berlin Memorial Hospital in New Berlin, WI. Angove is past president of Docare International and is a life member of the Republican Presidential Task Force. He has taken volunteer medical teams to villages across the world and has served on DMU’s Board of Trustees since 1984.
