Huang was named Physician of the Year by the Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons (OPSC) of California on Feb. 9, 2013. The award is presented to the individual who best represents the qualities and traits of an outstanding osteopathic physician and surgeon. Huang is a member of the OPSC Board of Directors; his term will end in 2014. In 2011, Huang and other colleagues formed Superior Medical Group in Anaheim Hills, CA, where he serves as vice president and partner. Superior Medical Group is a medical practice devoted to providing innovative personalized care in both ambulatory and hospital settings utilizing evidence-based medicine in preventative, acute and chronic care.
