Starting today 12 undergraduates join the DMU community for three weeks as they participate in Health P.A.S.S. 2013.
Health P.A.S.S. provides the students get a well-rounded perspective on what it’s like to be a medical school student in osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine and surgery, physical therapy and physician assistant studies. In the program’s courses, clinical opportunities and practical exposure, the students will gain the confidence that they can achieve a degree and career in any of Des Moines University’s four clinical areas- and the knowledge they need to get started.
While they are here they will also get to experience life in Des Moines by checking out a few local faves, including Adventureland, an Iowa Cubs game and historic East Village.
