Des Moines: Yankee Doodle Pops will be held tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. by the Des Moines Symphony at the Iowa State Capitol Grounds.
The Iowa Cubs take on Omaha at Principal Park tomorrow night, a fireworks extravaganza to follow.
Altoona: Prairie Meadows fireworks display starts at 10 p.m. tomorrow.
Indianola: Activities in the evening followed by Nite Glow Balloons at 9:30 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m. from the Balloon Field on Thursday, July 4.
Norwalk: Parade at 10 a.m., park festivities following parade, fireworks at dusk at McAninch Sports Park on Thursday, July 4.
Urbandale: Festive activities tonight, tomorrow and Thursday including a carnival and one of the largest parades in central Iowa. Fireworks are at 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 4.
Waukee: The July 4th parade will begin at 2 p.m. Celebration will continue after the parade in Centennial Park with a variety of entertainment. A fabulous fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m.
West Des Moines: Valley Junction hosts its annual Independence Day street party tomorrow starting at 6 p.m. with a concert by the Blue Band, a beer garden, food vendors following the West Des Moines Independence Day parade (starting at 6:30 p.m.).
