Can you hear that? It’s Jazz in July time again and things are off to a great start.
Metro Arts Jazz in July is Central Iowa’s longest-running summer music festival and the only festival to focus exclusively on jazz. This summer’s concert series will feature a dynamic mix of old favorites and fresh, new features including a Finale Festival at West Glen Town Center on July 27.
Tonight’s event happens to be taking place right next door to DMU at Wesley Acres. John Morgan’s Big Band will kick things off at 6:30 p.m. playing hits from the 30’s and 40’s. There will be food for purchase, wine, artisans and activities for children of all ages. Hope to see you there!
