Black was named Young Physician D.O. of the Year at the Indiana Osteopathic Association’s annual convention. He was presented this award at a recent luncheon at the Sheridan at Keystone in Indianapolis, where he was attending a continuing medical education conference. “This is a nice surprise from a great organization,” he said about the honor. “I am proud to be a D.O. physician in Indiana and hope to live up to the promise implied in an award like this.” The annual award is given to one outstanding physician in the state who has been in practice for less than 10 years.
