Kapler and Elyse Tinker were married May 4, 2013, in Fremont, OH.
Tinker received her bachelor’s degree in agricultural biotechnology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 2009. She attended medical school at Ohio University in Athens, graduating in May 2013. She is doing her residency in family medicine at MacNeal Hospital in Chicago.
Kapler earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Iowa State University in Ames in 2007 and a master’s degree in 2009. He graduated from DMU in May 2013 and is doing his residency in neurology at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago.
