Des Moines University students and faculty volunteered at the 16th annual I’ll Make Me a World in Iowa (IMMAWII) celebration on Saturday, February 15, providing free health screenings for attendees. Founded in 1998, the annual festival draws several thousand people to celebrate African American culture, art, education and community.
