Donnenwerth joined the Winona Health medical staff in Winona, MN, where he sees patients in podiatry services. He has special expertise in rear foot and ankle pain and injuries. He said he chose Winona Health because he loves that part of the country.
“My wife and I are from the Midwest. We love this area, and the people here are like the people we grew up with,” he said. “We often hear, ‘You’ll love it here,’ and it’s obvious people are proud of what this area has to offer. Everyone has been very welcoming.”
Donnenwerth completed his residency at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. He received his bachelor of arts in biology from Simpson College in Indianola, IA, and his medical degree from DMU. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
