Philip Blumberg, clinic operations manager at Des Moines University Clinic, was named to the Business Record’s 2014 list of Forty Under 40 honorees. The award recognizes local business leaders who have demonstrated impressive career achievements and unparalleled community involvement.
Blumberg was nominated for his continued leadership and service to the community. He is a graduate and board member of the West Des Moines Leadership Academy and helped develop 100 Men on a Mission, an informal networking group that raises money for local charities. Blumberg also serves as chairman and president of Prevent Blindness Iowa and is active in the Tifereth Israel Synagogue, serving as treasurer on its board of directors.
Six hundred people have received the honor since the Business Record began the awards in 2000. Honorees were profiled in the March 7 issue of the Business Record and recognized at an event on March 11.
