Bradford was recently inducted into the Society of Distinguished Physicians at Akron General in Akron, OH. He was the 58th physician chosen during the society’s 34 years of existence. Bradford has dedicated 32 years of service to Akron General Medical in emergency medicine. He has served as emergency medicine residency program director for 15 years and served twice as the interim chair of emergency medicine. He also held medical staff leadership roles as secretary-treasurer, vice chief of staff and chief of staff. He served on the Akron General Board of Directors and many other committees.
Bradford is semi-retired and is enjoying his time with his wife, Lois, on their family compound shared with daughters Amber, D.O.’02, and Alyssa, sons-in-law Keith and Brian and grandchildren Joy, Grace and Isaac. He also has been exploring the United States, hunting moose and rattlesnakes, and hiking through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
