Darwin Schossow, D.O.’86, was honored with the Life Service Award of the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association at the Upper Midwest Osteopathic Health Conference May 1-4 in Des Moines. The award recognizes osteopathic physician members of the association who have spent the greater part of their lives delivering health care to Iowa’s citizens, utilizing osteopathic practice and principles. Schossow practiced in family medicine in Des Moines for more than 20 years and now practices emergency medicine in his hometown of Pocahontas.
