Mark Cantieri was re-elected to the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Board of Trustees. This is his second term on the board. A board-certified osteopathic manipulative medicine specialist and a fellow of the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO), Cantieri is the chief executive officer of Corrective Care, PC, in Mishawaka, IN. He’s also a clinical assistant professor at the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis. He has served the osteopathic medical profession in many capacities, including as president of the AAO, a member of the AOA’s Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation and a member of the AOA’s Strategic Planning Committee. He has been honored for his service and contributions to osteopathic medical research with a number of awards, including the AOA’s George W. Northup, DO, Medical Writing Award, the AAO’s Thomas L. Northup Lecturer Award, the Kinsinger Award for Outstanding Service to the Indiana Osteopathic Association and the AAO’s A.T. Still Medallion of Honor.
