Anna Ruelle received the 2014 Outstanding Work in Diabetic Wounds Award from the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO), the nation’s largest wound care certification and member organization. The award recognizes her contributions to the promotion of diabetes education, volunteer service in the treatment of diabetic wounds, recruitment/mentoring of other wound care professionals and service as a liaison between the health care setting and the community in diabetic wound care.
Ruelle has practiced since 2004 in the orthopedic department of New Hampshire’s Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene, where she specializes in treatment of the diabetic foot, foot and ankle reconstruction, foot and ankle arthritis, ligament reconstruction, trauma and foot and ankle sports injuries, and pediatric foot and ankle conditions.
