A record 67 researchers presented their work to students, faculty and health care professionals at the 2014 DMU Research Symposium on December 4. Five DMU students and two alums were recognized for outstanding research in the most competitive field in the Symposium’s five years. Participants competed in both oral and poster presentations in their fields of study. Oral presenters were assessed on their submitted abstracts and performance, while poster presenters were evaluated on technical, visual and presentation aspects. The winners were:
