Nathan Coleman earned the award for best oral presentation by a resident at the fifth annual DMU Research Symposium on campus on Dec. 4. He was the presenting author of research titled “First Metatarsal Phalangeal Joint Range of Motion Following Implant Arthroplasty.” Coleman is a resident with UnityPoint Foot and Ankle in Fort Dodge, IA. One of his co-authors on the research was Mindi Feilmeier, D.P.M.’05, FACFAS, assistant professor in DMU’s College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
