Jayme Van Beek, D.O.’11, was featured on the website of the multispecialty health network Affiliated Community Medical Centers (ACMC), where he is a family medicine physician. He was DMU’s first student to train at ACMC, rotating in 2009-2011 in family medicine, internal medicine and the organization’s various specialties. ACMC, which has had several DMU students on rotation since Van Beek, is the largest health care system in west central and southwest Minnesota, with 11 clinics, 35 specialty departments and more than 170 physicians that serve six hospitals and about 103,000 patients throughout the region.
