Incorporating Prezi for More Interactive Presentations

This post is part of the Online Faculty Best Practices Series.

Best practice champion: Jami Haberl in the MPH Program.

I was quite impressed when I first watched Jami’s Prezi presentations in her Introduction to MPH Program and Graduate School course. She created very interactive presentations using Prezi. One previous disadvantage of Prezi was the lack of audio functionality. Although Prezi allows the user to add audio into separate sections of the presentation, it does not run as fluent as a video. In order to overcome this issue, Jami also used a screenrecording software and uploaded the recording into her YouTube account. The result was a very nicely done presentation that keeps students engaged.
