Drew Lewis, associate professor of osteopathic manual medicine at DMU, was among the authors of “Predictive Relationship of Osteopathic Manual Medicine Grades and COMLEX-USA Level 1 Total Scores and Osteopathic Principles and Practice Subscores” published in the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association in June 2014.
In October, Lewis was invited to lecture to an international audience of health care providers at the sixth Fascial Distortion Model World Congress in San Antonio, TX. His presentation was titled “Fascial Distortion Model in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.” He is serving his third year on the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, which is composed of eight distinguished osteopathic physiatrists elected by the American Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees from nominees submitted by the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
