Kaaren Olesen, D.O., M.H.A., joined the DMU faculty on Dec. 1 as assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the specialty medicine department. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Michigan, where she served as chief resident. She then practiced in Des Moines and also served on the DMU faculty from 2005 to 2010.
