Karl “Fritz” Disque, D.O.’07, R.Ph., is co-founder of National Health Care Provider Solutions (NHCPS), an online medical education company that provides health care professionals with basic life support, pediatric advanced life support, advanced cardiac life support and CPR, AED and first aid courses, certified by the American Emergency Medical Advisory Association. More than 8,700 individuals have taken the courses. All proceeds support medical care and education in underserved countries through the Disque Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a mission of advancing health care education to the underserved in the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Disque recently returned from a trip to the Dominican Republic during which he and 18 colleagues taught surgeons how to do hernia surgeries, and medical students and staff how to save lives.
