Events kicked off on Friday, May 22, as our Doctor of Physical Therapy faculty and graduates came together to hand out awards.
Families and friends participated in the annual Commencement campus-wide picnic, serenaded by local Des Moines band The Nadas.
Guests honored graduates attending DMU on military scholarships during the Military Promotion Ceremony.
Our three colleges, College of Osteopathic Medicine, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and College of Health Sciences, recognized graduates who had distinguished themselves during the course of their academic studies.
Des Moines University gained 463 new alums after this year’s 115th Commencement Ceremony, on Saturday, May 23, at Hy-Vee Hall in the Iowa Events Center.
