Sherah Bateman, M.P.H.’11, began her new job on July 1 as project coordinator – Ebola Traveling Team with the California Department of Public Health in Richmond. Her “dream job” involves epidemiology and Ebola surveillance, including global migration and traveler monitoring. In addition to her DMU degree, Bateman has a master of science degree from Georgetown University that focused on infectious disease.
