A Des Moines Alumni event was held on March 4, 2016. Over 100 Alumni and friends attended the social event in downtown Des Moines. One of the highlights of the evening was the attendance of the Board of Trustee and Alumni Board Members who were in town for a weekend retreat. President Franklin spoke during the event and share news of the University and future goals.
The event was held at the Des Moines Civic Center, West Balcony. Guest enjoyed the excellent tastings from Splash Seafood Bar & Grill which was catered in. After the event, many of the alumni attended the Broadway production of Cabaret.
“I’m so excited to see the continued growth in numbers at the Iowa events. Many alumni at the event commented how great it was to see several colleagues from the Iowa area out to support their alma mater” said Director of Alumni Relations, Ronnette Vondrak.
