At the recent meeting, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Board of Trustees decided that the deadline for AOA members to meet the 2013-2015 CME requirements would be extended through May 31, 2016. AOA members will have the option to apply credits earned from January 1, 2016, through May 31, 2016, to the 2013-2015 CME cycle.
The AOA Department of Client and Members Services created an attestation form for members to release an authorization to have credits earned during the extension applied to the 2013-2015 cycle. Those members will need to sign the release form and submit it with their CME certificates directly to the AOA. If you wish to use this option, submit your completed form and CME documentation to the AOA Customer Resource Center at crc@osteopathic.org or by fax to 312-202-8202.
