Hot, hot, hot! It was a sweltering day but not a single person could complain about having to lace up some golf shoes and spend the day out on the course. On June 10, over 40 alumni, students and friends did just that and joined DMU Day on the Greens at Waveland Golf Course. The event was a fun way to socialize and enjoy the great outdoors.
The day kicked off with participants checking in and warming up around 12:30 p.m. President Angela Walker Franklin, Ph.D. was there to greet and thank everyone for showing their support and coming out. When the time came for each group to tee off, they were ready and in full swing. Several activities took place including “best team photo” and “most fun”.
Congratulations to the winning foursome Jacob Harder, D.P.M.’20, Trenton Harder, D.O.’19, George Noesen, M.S.A.’19 and Ross Klocke, D.O.’19. Several of the participants also won big from activity holes. Thank you to all of our in-kind sponsors who donated for each of these activities.
