Karen Wiarda, D.O.’05

Karen Wiarda, D.O.’05, joined the Carle Heart and Vascular Institute in Mattoon, IL. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and the National Board of Echocardiology. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. Wiarda completed her residency in internal medicine at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, MI, and fellowships in cardiology at Garden City Hospital and in hospice and palliative medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
