David P. Gowman, D.O.’90

David P. Gowman, D.O.’90, was welcomed into the International Association of HealthCare Professionals with his publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. A cardiologist in practice for more than 18 years, he serves patients at Botsford Heart Health Center in Farmington Hills, MI, and is affiliated with Beaumont Hospital. Gowman completed a residency in cardiology and internal medicine at Botsford Hospital and then completed level three training in echocardiography at the University of Michigan. Double-board-certified in cardiology and in clinical lipidology, he maintains professional membership in the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the American Society of Echocardiography and the Society of Vascular Medicine. He is recognized as an expert in cardiology across Michigan for his knowledge and skill regarding the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions, ranging from coronary artery disease to valvular heart disease and cardiomyopathies. He is a specialist in multiple areas of cardiac imaging including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular imaging, and coronary computed tomography angiography.
